Wild Heart Photography believe in creating a relaxed photography experience for those who have entrusted us, humbled us and invited us into their world to capture their family in this very moment; to professionally capture moments and provide beautiful, timeless and happy photographs for clients and their families in an efficient manner; to offer value and exceptional photographic products by one of Australia's premier print labs that guarantee their quality and longevity of their products for which Wild Heart Photography proudly offers and highly recommends; and to work hard to exceed our clients standards in all areas of customer service, photography, professionalism and due diligence in delivering an experience, service and product that will will set their wild heart aflutter with joy and happiness.

1. What to wear

In keeping with timeless photographs that will stand the test of time, we suggest keeping clothes that display patterns, company logos, words or any other distracting elements, at home! Solid colours look fabulous and will stand the test of time. We believe that dressing everyone in the same colour, can look unnatural and contrived. However, a balance of complimentary colours in similar tonal ranges between family members, creates the best image. 

2. What to expect

On the day of your session, please ensure you arrive at our designated location prior to your appointment time, so that we can all walk onto the beach together. Your session time is scheduled for a very specific time to allow for time, both before and after the sun sets, weather, tides and best light.

Children are encouraged to play, run and have fun, with some crazy requests to bust out some dance moves on the beach with their siblings, holding hands or playing games by jumping over the waves, searching for pirate ships or leaving tiny footprints in the sand.

Nik's vision is to capture natural candid moments, as well as some photographs with basic posing. Nik is dedicated to capturing the essence of your family, your relationships and being your personal storyteller for a brief moment. Nik will balance the shoot to ensure she achieves photographs of every member of the family, special family groupings and precious interactions.

Once the session is over, Nik will work hard to professionally enhance the best images from your shoot & have them delivered to you as swiftly as possible. Nik is committed to ensuring 1-2 watermarked images are shared on the Wild Heart Photography Facebook page within 24 hours of the session. Once your gallery of images is available for viewing, Nik will send an email with a link to a password protected gallery where you can select your favourite images.

3. Bad Weather

In the event inclement weather has the potential to upset your session, Nik will continue to monitor the weather and conditions and remain in contact with you about whether the shoot will go ahead, be moved to an alternate location or rescheduled for another time. While every effort is made to ensure sessions are scheduled for optimal weather, light and tide conditions, we all know mother nature can be unpredictable at times! Safety for our clients and photographer will always be our top priority.

4. Cancellation Policy

We completely understand illness, medical conditions and extenuating circumstances that can arise without warning - we will remain sympathetic, professional and understanding to you and your family during those times. We respectfully request prompt notification of your inability to keep your scheduled session time as your date has been exclusively secured for you.

Under these circumstances, we request you provide as much notice, as is reasonable, so that we too can manage the impact from a personal, financial and business perspective. Cancelled sessions will be rescheduled for a mutually convenient time, again in conjunction with preferred weather, tides, sunset times and available light. Sessions cancelled within 12 hours of their scheduled time, may forfeit their deposit, unless agreed otherwise.

5. Model Release

We appreciate all clients signing a model release prior to your session. The model release explains ownership of the photographs both digitally and in physical form, your agreement to enjoy your images for personal use only and also gives you the opportunity to provide your consent for Wild Heart Photography to respectfully share and use images from your session, for both website, facebook and promotional purposes. The model release includes all persons photographed on the day and these conditions apply to each and every person photographed during that session. Wild Heart Photography reserves the right to a perpetual, royalty free licence, to use these images, photographs and digital files in some of the following ways but not limited to: being displayed on the Wild Heart Photography Facebook page and Wild Heart Photography website, used in photography forums, other photography, tourism or art related websites, photography competitions, submission to newspapers, sponsors or collaborative partnerships for advertising, printing photos from your session on a variety of mediums for studio use and Wild Heart Photography publicity, for use on Wild Heart Photography stationary such as business cards, flyers, posters, pamphlets, welcome letters or email and newsletter subscriptions. The model release must be signed prior to the session for the session to proceed. 

6. Copyright

We are grateful for your loyalty and appreciation for our photographs and the time, effort, training, skill and financial investment it takes, to produce quality photography. All images of Wild Heart Photography are subject to copyright and are protected by Australian copyright laws. It is illegal to to copy, scan, edit, manipulate or alter in any way, any image produced, printed or provided to you, as taken & owned by Wild Heart Photography. The cropping of images or removal of Wild Heart Photography watermarks, is strictly prohibited. 

7. We are a registered Australian Business and we are fully insured

Wild Heart Photography is a fully insured business and registered with an Australian Business Number 36 390 545 968. You hereby irrevocably release and discharge, Wild Heart Photography from any and all claims and demands arising out of, or in connection with, the use of photographs, images, works, including any claims based on defamation, copyright, privacy or right of publicity.
